Jazz Funk Kids Dance Class

Are you between 7 and 16 years old and enjoy dancing, moving and creating? 

Then you've come to the right place! 

Jazz Funk is a mixture of modern hip hop grooves and funky jazz dance moves. Together we will learn various routines to pop songs, covering the basics of jazz dance technique, acrobatic elements and partnering. 

Let's dive into the colourful world of Jazz Funk and dance on Friday afternoons!

7 - 11 years old? 
12 - 16 years old?

Our Piccoli Jazz Funk Kids Dance Class is just the course for you. Regardless of whether you’re an experienced dancer or have just recently started to dive into the wonderful world of dance, together we’ll find new challenges and share our passion for moving and grooving. 

We’ll be working on some basics and will adjust the level according to the group’s needs. 

At the end of the semester, we’ll show our friends and family what we’ve been working on, by putting together a short performance.

Interested in dancing, acrobatics and partnering? Then our Jazz Funk Teens Dance Class is ideal for you. The Lucy Abril Dance Studio puts a lot of emphasis on creating a relaxing, open and judgment free learning atmosphere, which allows all dancers, regardless of their level, to further develop their skills and evolve. As a result, beginners are more than welcome to join this class as well.

At the end of the semester, we’ll showcase our newly learned moves and skills to our friends and family in the form of a short performance.

Where you'll find us

Our Jazz Funk Kids Dance Classes take place at the GZ Riesbach in the heart of Zurich.

Arriving with public transport?
Arriving by car?

Tram no. 2 and 4, as well as bus no. 916 stop at the tram station Feldeggstrasse, which is a stone’s throw away from GZ Riesbach. 

White and blue parking spaces are available, as well as the Parkhaus Feldegg multi-storey car park in the immediate vicinity.
